Pirates Party

I took the kids today to Cade’s birthday party. It was a pirate party. Really fun. Thanks Sam and Maria!

Sam had an awesome pirate thing going and made these cool treasure maps and treasure hunt with the kids. Maria baked a very great cake, -pirate shaped shipped complete with a treasure chest of chocolate gold coins. Very cool.

With the treasure hunt thing Evan really got into it. “Okay, so we’re supposed to start where the ship is. So we must be in a ship right now. There are mountains pictured on this map, yes there are definitely mountains on this property. Looks like we’ll need to head East from here.” etc.

All the boys there were dressed up real well. Inspite of the theme Ella, Kaylee, and Brooke were all princessess. Of course.

A wonderful afternoon. I love being with my kids and enjoying all their adventures.
