Girls -Great Night

Take that any way you like :-) 

we did have a great night though… the guys gone and all of us girls together sitting around our low living room coffee table with full-bodied red wine in tall smooth slim-stemmed glasses and with our knives stabbing at blocks of chocolate on a rustic wooden cutting board, piles of brand new Physicians Formula make-up spread neatly around the table. 

Tory, our very best Tory, had brought home a big bag of make-up from the provisioning (if you don’t know what that word means, I’m so sorry and she brought the cool idea of having a girls night together passing it out. We all took turns picking something we liked. It was great fun. As usual the fun was mostly the conversations that ensued as we waited our turn and watching each girl’s thinking and decision making process at work. Discussing the essence of true beauty, the importance of personality and spirit, and our mutual abhorring of all that is plastic and fake. (Except somehow we all walked away with some makeup and someone-s- even took the fake nail sets. heh.)

Girls, you are the best friends. I consider myself so blessed. No matter what you wear you are each so very REAL.
