Hello Mudda, Hello Fudda,

My son is going off to his very first summer camp!

He’s 6 years old.

It’s a 6 day 5 nighter.

His dad is going with him. Whew!

I read over the camp flyer several times and it looks like he’s going to have a lot of fun. There will be swimming, sports, Word classes, inspirations, abstract art T-shirt painting, other arts and crafts projects, a Hawaiian Dance Night, Marshmallow roasts, star gazing, etc.

The CP board, Abi, Nina, Maggie, Crystal, Joe and helpers (plus our sneaky FED board reps. Darren and Michelle )are doing a great job planing and pulling this off. I really appreciate them.

I’m praying all the kids have great fun and a safe time. I’m praying for all the adults there taking care of them. But mostly I’m praying for myself. Yep, for me. And for all the other moms whose babies are gone at camp to make it through this week.
