Day Three
Soooooo TODAY. Today was a good day. I got to go for a wonderful run with my trusty IPOD, in a beautiful park adjacent our hotel that has the most beautiful trees. They’re old and tall and smell wonderful, -oak, pine, and eucalyptus. The weather here is perfect for running. Very cool and fresh with a nice amount of moisture in the air. Anyway, it was just great. I’m so thankful.
Today was Duane’s (my brother in law) 30th birthday. We all got to spend the day with him having all sorts of very youthful fun.
Went to grandma’s house for lunch and swimming. The pool was so warm, she had it heated up to about 90 degrees, the kids loved it. Then we went to Toys R Us and they each got to pick something out. They made good choices.
Our boys got some playmobile castles and Ella got a pink camera. It’s a digital camera for kids and it really works. It’s cool because she’s been praying for a camera for months and at Kidz Club her “stories” for the Kidz Club mag are always about praying for a camera. So today she was thrilled that the Lord answered her prayers (Lord help me, I didn’t think it was a likely thing to happen, at least not until she was a lot older, but this kids one that actually works is pretty amazing and a perfect answer to her prayers). I’m glad her teachers at Kidz Club will get a break from the camera prayer and hear something new for awhile J.
We get one more day here with everyone.
