The Bell Rings

Evan finished 2nd grade yesterday. He’s worked hard, focused, and applied himself.

Ella finished Kindergarten 5. She’s reading and writing cursive, loves school and learning.

We took them to Fudruckers for hamburgers (since that’sĀ Evan’s most favorite food) and milkshakes for a fun reward.

They have had wonderful, dedicated teachers this year. Thank you so much Kat and Timna, and sub-teachers Michelle, “Wowza” Ruthie, Dulcy and everyone else who has poured love and care into them. We love you!

Congratulations, I think sometimes, the moms are more relieved at the end of the school year. Your not on the US school timetable?? Alex is just finished grade one, on the Chile schedule, and he’ll start 2 in Jan/Feb.

  2. Ours Truly Says:

No, we’re on our own home school schedule.

Thankflly the kids are going to get a nice fat Christmas break and will be free to enjoy all of Christmas. We’ll probably go back to school in Jan/Feb too.

We went caroling for the first time this season last night. The kids all did so well and Evan boldly gave the Salvation message at every door her could and prayed with 5 people.

    Happy times!

PS We miss you Jess! And miss your kids!
