We were able to get the kids passes to Sea World for their birthday presents this year. Thankfully they were having a special deal on them so it worked out a lot cheaper than we were expecting to pay. We’re really excited that we’ll have something fun to do on Family days this year. We took the kids last weekend. They loved it. We watched the dolphin show and the Shamu show.

Emmer was scared and wanted to sit in the top rows so he wouldn’t get wet. Keeping his distance, he enjoyed the show. Later this week when Darren’s brother Ben and wife Mel visited Emmer told them about the show. He said “The big whale was scared of me!”

Ice-cream for the birthday boy. They really stuffed these cones full of ice-cream we couldn’t finish them all between us. Not a bad deal for $3.50 at least not compared to the rest of the food and drink prices at Sea World.

Ben and Mel (Darren’s older brother and wife) visited us from Australia. It was a first time meeting for the kids and I. We had such a great time visiting with them. –Thanks Ben and Mel!
