Birthday BBQ

Evan decided that he wanted a hamburger this year for his birthday instead of cake. He also picked popsicles as a substitute for the traditional ice-cream. So we had a BBQ for his birthday party. He cousins and friends came over. The played a basketball game in the driveway, had a pinata, and lots of other fun play.

Evan just seemed really grown up about it all, taking it all in stride and making good decisions about when to move from one activity to the next. I think he had fun. He got some nice presents from friends and from grandma. Thank you! Most of all I think he just really enjoyed having everyone come over for his birthday. Meant a lot. Thank you!

Charlie, Ella and Shannon picked the HUGE lemons off of our trees. Charlie and her friends make a lemonade stand and pass out tracts to the buyers and pray the salvation prayer with them too. So the lemons go to a worthy cause.
