To E or not to E? That is the question!

We’re trying to name our baby. The first question we have to tackle is whether or not to go with another E name. No, we didn’t name our three with E’s on purpose, we’re just strangely attracted to names that begin with E. Really, there are a lot of good ones. But now the question is whether to stick with it or not.

Darren and the kids say we must. I feel there’s nothing we “must” do. What do you think?

If it’s a girl go with an e name. If it’s a boy go with an un-e name. Girls are much more concerned with their names than boys are. So if it’s a girl there’s more of a chance that she’ll feel left out if she doesn’t have an e name, where as a boy would be like oh well. Plus there’s more possibilities in the girls names that start with an E, than boy’s…at least from what I could tell with the options you had a couple of weeks ago.

yes, do it. It is so cool.

YEs you MUST stay on E path…it’s the will of the Gods, trust me.

I think the “E” trend is cool and if you have name you like that starts with an “e” then I would say go for it but if you find a really cool un-e name as Ruthie put it….then I say go with that. Don’t do it just because you have already started it. Well, that my two-cents.

I think it’s so cool to go with E.. continuing on, since you have so many already.

Whatever you do, be more prepared than we were! I think it’s exciting to know that someone is picking from a smaller pool, it makes me very curious to know what you’ll come up with.

Both sides have their pros and cons. One thing nobody has said yet is the longer you stay on the “E” (the more kids you pick names for starting with E) the more difficult it is the break the addiction. :D

That said, I think what you’ve done so far is original, and if having to pick an E name forces you to be a little more creative in your name picking all the more power to ya!

I love what you have done with the “E” names. I thought it was on purpose, but since it wasn’t, then it makes it all the more awsome and original. One thing I have seen about the “addiction” is that sometimes people will name their poor kid an odd name to keep up with the tradition. So far you haven’t done that, I love all the kids names. So if you can keep it original, then go for an “E”. Or better yet, as with Emmer, as HIM, I know HE’s got lots of original “E”’s. Love you!! Oh, and you are such a great sample to us all–the more the merrier!!

I think you should stick with the “E”. It’s so cool.
