My kids

God I love my kids! They just make me so happy and remind me of what life should really be filled with –complete and total awe at cool truths; simple wisdom; new tastes; experiences, touches, sensations; the freedom to laugh out loud when you feel like it and to do so repeatedly for random pleasure; the right to be silly “just because” it feels so much better than being serious; the perspective that clothes and shoes were made for us and not us for clothes (so feel free to run, jump, crawl, climb trees and eat spagetti and popsicles in them); it’s good to have a healthy fear of strangers and dogs; it’s okay to be innocent (it’s even cute sometimes); hug often, hug freely; blow kisses as you pass by someone you love in the hallway; say “I love you” as often as you feel it; feel sorry for helpless things and creations; always leave your desk to play with babies; if you must worry, only do so until you have shared your worry with someone you trust and they have answered, dismissed it or reassured you in it, then go on to do whatever is to be done next in your life; dance when you feel like it; sing as loud as you like; snuggle, and MUCH, MUCH more!

-Cuz those are just some of the things I noticed today.

I love my niece and nephews too and am so happy that we are getting another little one. Please give each one of them a BIG hug and kiss from me. And tell Evan “I love you, okay”. :)
