Kindness matters.

I see the moon and the moon sees me

We were visiting Grammy in San Diego last week and swimming in her pool when Emmer looks up and sees the moon in the sky. (It was only about 5 or 6 pm and the moon was already out though there was still daylight) He says “That’s the moon. It’s not close. It’s far away. It’s back at my park at Home in Mexico.”

I guess he sees it everyday at the park he goes to in the afternoon to play. Figures he knows where the moon lives –back at home. :-)

I love how kids brains work and when they say stuff like this so I know what they are thinking and how they are seeing things. It’s always so priceless.
