Conversations With God
Apparently the book by this title was on the New York Times Best Seller list for nearly 3 years. 7 mil. copies sold.
I just watched the movie by the same title that shows the life of the author, Neale Walsch, and how the book came to him. The movie is very slow, but interesting. Especially, I guess, since after a pretty tough life he starts to hear from God, and what he gets he writes down. What he writes becomes a book, and the book changes all sorts of people’s lives.
There were two quotes in the movie that were intresting: They are things God tells to Walsch, and I’m guessing they are probably in the book.
A lady asks Walsch if he could tell her, in a paragraph, what is the most important thing God would want to say to us. Walsch replies that he can sum it up in 5 words;
“You’ve got Me all wrong.”
The other quote was “Worry is the activity of a mind that does not understand its connection with Me.”
watched Conversations with God recently, i appreciate the point that Neale Donald Walsch makes about having freedom to admit that he’s not perfect so he can move on from where he is at that point.
