Played my first game of Settlers today

We hooked up with Nadia and Justin for our day off and Tom joined in to show us the ropes of the game.

I lost.

But I got the idea!

I’ll do better next time.

There was a beautiful breeze at the beach today, and the color of the water was just perfect sea green and blue, with those waves that roll up while the sun shines on them and makes you feel like it’s the best piece of creation there is. It’s certainly a piece of heaven to walk on the beach on days like this.

I think today felt like a day of peace in the midst of the storm. These have been busy times.
