Letters to our special peeps…

Dear Auntie Mishy,

You are so fun and sweet and sacrificial. You make every day that we are with you very special.

We’re so happy that you got to go for a much needed vacation to Montana. It was your first real vacation in over 5 years!! You deserved it! (And you knew it! ) You love us so much you wanted to take us with you. Then when  you came home from YOUR vacation you brought US shinner prizes (buffalo piggy banks and a horse for Ella). –Wow! You are too good to us!

This week, when we just had a new baby sister and mommy and daddy needed to go to the hospital for her birth, you missed your sleep-in and took your day off to prepare to take us up to meet them at the hospital. Then you drove us up through lots of traffic to meet them. You took us to Chuckie Cheese and a pumpkin patch, and made sure we had so much fun. At the same time you were planning and organizing our graduation party for today at Mission Bay park. Wow! You do so much for us Mishy!

Even though it’s been such a busy year and all the big people around us are working and working and working, you always take time to stop and make sure that we are cared for and having fun, good lives and experiences. You are never too busy to care about us and love us!

We couldn’t have a better auntie! We thank Jesus for you!

Dear Auntie Timna and Katie,

We love you and we miss you this week while we are away with our new baby sister!

Our days are so special, fun, and full of good learning and neat experiences because you are our teacher! We’re going to our school graduation today and that makes us think of how blessed we are to have such a sweet and smart teacher.

You make sure we understand the things we need to learn. You help us with our problems. You go slow when we need to and you help us skip ahead and move on when we’ve “got it already” and are getting bored. You teach us how to have a close friendship and talk time with Jesus. You are there for us every day and you tell us and everyone how much you love us and love to be with us. You say that we are “your life”. That means a lot to us! It’s extra special to be loved and liked so much by your teacher and to know that we are fun for you and that being with us is what you love to do!

You also make sure that things in the home run good so we can have nice days, exercise, Word time and school.  You even make sure we have good meals and healthy snacks. You teach others how to take care of us too. You’re always looking out for us. You make it possible for mommy and daddy to have good work time for our big family and missionaries, and you teach us to respect that and help them and pray for them too. You are a good example to us.

We also love it when you and Uncle Phil and Katie make us part of your family when mommy and daddy are gone. We like having family time and special movie times with you!

We love to play with you too Katie, and we’re so glad for you. You are our happy thought each day in our school breaks. We love to see you smile and we love to make you laugh. We think it’s great that you like us so much. We’re practically brothers and sisters with you because you’ve been with us since you were just born.  

Thank you for being a part of our lives. Thank you for your love!
