Welcome 2008! (PS. happy New Year)

My first post this year was this beautiful picture of Evie (below). Not really sure why but I left the party that rung in the New Year last night with an urge to post it, but this morning I think it’s fitting: Among many blessings and good things, she’s one of the best things that came to our family last year, and personally, probably my greatest accomplishment last year. She’s also one of the greatest things we have to look forward to this new year. As a famiily we are looking forward to getting to know her -who she is and what she’s like- in 2008.

Here’s a post I read today on the New Year that I enjoyed. This woman has collected some quotes that I found suprisingly significant. Were Thomas Jefferson and Albert Einstein alive today I would very much be interested in what they would write and what causes they would be living & possibly risking their lives for.
