In the tradition of Mexico
Our children had the wonderful opportunity this Christmas of learning some of the traditions of Mexico. Some of the best are Mexico’s colorful traditional costumes which the children got to wear this year in their annual Christmas performances, which was quite elaborate this year.
They learned the Spanish Christmas song “Con Mi Burrito”, along with impressive choreography (by Maria D.) for their young ages. I was amazed at how they learned, danced, sang and performed. Being able to team up with a group of their friends made the show bigger and even more fun for the children.
For their part, Evan carried the show as usual, with his determined and strong performance. Ella shined with her sparkly eyes and laughing smile that couldn’t hide how much she was enjoying her part. Emmer was impressive, -at three years of age I was shocked by how seriously he did his part, without distraction or divertion, he was on beat, on key, and on target. A complete natural.
