Life Lesson
Not too long ago when I was under some storm clouds, my dad sent me this “Life Lesson” from the movie Rocky Balboa. It helped.
Sometimes we forget who we are – somewhere in life things change and we stop being who we are & we let someone stick a finger in our face that tell us that we’re no good. And, when things get hard we start looking for something or someone to blame like a big shadow. The world isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, it’s a mean and nasty place & I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. Neither you nor anybody is gonna hit as hard as life. But, it’s not about how hard you can hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit & keep moving forward. How much you can take & keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done. If you know what your worth, go out and get what your worth, but you gotta be willing to take the hit. And stop pointing the finger and saying you aren’t what you should be because of him or her or anybody. Cowards do that & that’s not you. You are better than that & until you start believing in who you are & what you can do – you won’t have a life.
Un poema de MUCHO ANIMO Claire! Muchas gracias. Thanks to your dad too.
