Happy July 4th

Ella (3), had great fun last night watching the July 4th fire-works from the window of our second-floor bedroom. Apparently she had heard the other children call them “fire-crackers”, so she exclaimed “I’m watching the sky-stuff, you know, the big STAR-COOKIES!” –-Cookies, crackers; same thing, I guess? (Evan says she was also thinking of the colorful sprinkles on Christmas cookies that the fire-works also reminded her of.)
