Be corky.

half the work, more fun!

well, there have been some really great moments and photo opps lately with all this family reuniting business happening here in our home. but thankfully, I don’t have to take a lot of pictures or worry about missing the moment since that seems to be everyone else’s job. And they are posting on their sites. Wow. what a load off my shoulders. I feel ten years younger already.
Seriously though, there are tons of photos on MikeandNina’s or FeliandMarco’s blogs, where you can go to enjoy the crowd, if you wish. (that is unless you got here to my site through theirs, in which case you’ve seen them all already).

We had a bit of a late Christmas thingy today and we opened presents with my grandma here and my mom and dad who are also grandparents of 8 of these rascals. Two things really touched me today. One is that my grandma gave each of us girls a necklace with a beautiful little “open heart” on it… from Tiffany’s. She said grandpa wanted us to have one, and the gift tag bore his name. Thanks Grandma, and thanks Grandpa, i’m sure you were here today, and I’m sure you were asking “who the hell is paying for this”. ha, ha. –Sorry, you’d have to know my grandpa, ever the saving type, to appreciate this.

The other thing is that my aunt knitted each of us girls a beautiful scarf in our favorite colors. (can’t wait till one of my sis’s posts the pictures :-) )
She also wrapped and sent beautiful presents for each of us and our kids. –Thank you Aunt Chrissy, that was a lot of work, and they were beautiful and beautifully enjoyed.

So it’s still Chrsitmas here, and tomorrow is the eve of the new year. wow.
