Why we are proud to live the life of a missionary in The Family International

Souls Won by Family International missionaries in 2005–
This year (2005) the Family had another banner year of over 1 million souls won! One million is a lot of souls. We outdid last year’s total by 11,000 souls, making a total of 1,122,002 souls for the year. This is the fifteenth time during our 37-year history that the Family has won over 1 million souls in a year. It’s also the ninth year in a row that we’ve won over a million. 2005 ranks as our tenth highest year of souls won in our history. Praise the Lord!
Another milestone has been reached: We’ve passed the 30 million mark, with 30,152,364 souls won to date. Our yearly average over our 37-year history is 815,000 souls a year, or 68,000 souls a month. This year, 2005, we averaged 93,500 a month, the same as last year.

Personal witness
The Family personally witnessed 5,740,639 times this year, an average of 995 times per adult for the year, and 83 times per month.
We personally witnessed 5,740,639 times and won 1,122,002 souls. So 20% of the people we personally witnessed to got saved–1 person out of every 5 personal witnesses.
