Cole 4, (Evan & Ella’s friend & class-mate)was working through his phonics worksheet in school today. In the lesson he needed to fill in the blank with a consonat after the blend.
The blend was “bu” so it read “bu__”. His options were to fill in the blank with “g” or “x”. Cole chose “x”.
Katrina (his mom & teacher) asked him “You chose ‘x’? -Are you sure that’s a word? What does ‘bux’ mean?”
Cole replies right away with “You know, like ‘StarBUX’!”

There are defintely some strong influences in his life! heh!
